Kirby gets 2 outs and then gives up another home run, 10-9.

Do we not have a stud that can come out of the pen or are we waiting

Honestly, I just cannot understand why Tony V. cannot get it through his head to quit leaving Connell in for more than a few batters. He's good to get you out of an inning or through a couple even. But he gave up the lead on a two run homer last inning and that SHOULD have been it for him. We leave him in, inexplicably IMO, and he gives up another bomb. 10-9 Vols. It just kills me.

Does anyone know why it is Kentucky announcers on the TV broadcast? Is this typical?
Sorry for my baseball ignorance

Do we not have a stud that can come out of the pen or are we waiting I think we are trying to get to Aaron Combs for the 8th and 9th, but Connell doesn't need to be the guy to get us to him and that should have been clear a long, long, long time ago.

our pitching depth is not all that deep apparently. The pen has not been as strong as hoped, because to this point in the season Snead and Combs, though not bad, have not been what was expected. And losing Russell has been the killer blow, because otherwise we aren't trying to play bullpen whack-a-mole every Sunday game against SEC hitting.

I’m betting Kirby is done I always think that, and I'm wrong way too often on that. You just have to know what you can reasonably expect to get out of him. And we push that too far way too many times and it costs us.

First team to 15 wins. I hate these streaming games where my feed freezes up several times an inning. Now it’s asking me to reload. Grrr!

We do and did today stick with Kirby too long but it’s not like KY is having any more success trotting out pitcher after pitcher. I know they used 6 yesterday and now _ today. Not sure
