This helps us. It certainly makes that 22 point road win look more impressive.

Especially in preparation, I take Barnes over almost every coach. He is good at ATOs. Sometimes in game adjustments are slow but he has been better. Who are the COACHES not team that you fear in the league? Not sure who this is posed to, but I’ll take a stab. First, I don’t think I’d describe my feelings about any coach as “fear”. But as to which coaches I think are tough challenges for us: I’d say Pearl first. Oats is good. Chris Jans Chris Beard But I don’t especially fear any of them, nor do I think anyone fears Barnes. (And I don’t mean ‘fear’ in the terror sense, but just in the sports/competitive sense). There is no reason for anyone to think facing any of these coaches is some kind of automatic L. Of course, none of them is going to run roughshod over the league without very good talent. No coach is. It’s too early to say about Pope, but again I think he’ll be very good with UK type talent at his disposal. |

Pearl is the same way, not that I wish he would leave but they are gonna be good as long as he is there. Actually, hope he stays there instead of moving to Florida or TWWNBN or some such. Chris Beard can be a problem. Buzz Wiliams is a good coach. Cal will get good players at Arkansas. |

Coaching question was for everyone. With how tough the league is, some teams are really good but I’m not spooked. Barnes has shown he can adapt. Beard is really good, I’m not sure the team is. Cal lost his fastball IMO. Oates I hate him. The NBA needs to offer him a job now.
It’s a nice spot to be in.

I didn't mention Calipari for two reasons: 1) dislike him; 2) agree he is not at the top of his game any more. His legacy to me is that 2 of his FF's were vacated for cheating. Whether or not it can be traced to him, I believe he was involved/aware. Agree on Oats, and I want him out of Tuscaloosa. Bring Avery R. back. |

Vols might be top three next week in the AP While I don't care as much about the AP, it still gets notice so I'll take any recognition we can get. We have been spoiled by how nationally relevant we are under CRB. We have only rarely had this high of a profile. |
