I got chill bumps watching that and hearing “Dalton Knecht!!!!” over and over.
He is special. He’ll have some off nights, but on the whole he looks like he could be a star in the league for many years.

You think there are some NBA front offices re-thinking their drafts? I know Dalton is old, and some of these guys will develop. But he seems like a great #17 pick. Also, the 76ers might have struck gold with Jared McClain. Bub Carrington also has a nice stat line so far. Draft Slot

Dalton putting himself into rookie of the year conversation. He has been a starter the last two games. In tonight's game against the Pelicans, he put up 27 points on 10-17 from the floor, 5-10 from the 3, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, 0 turnovers. Watch this highlight video. I am at least as impressed by his strong drives and dunks as I am with his perimeter shooting. It would seem on the face of it to be easier to stand outside and shoot 3-pointers with no hands in your face than it is to drive the lane and throw it down through traffic. Does anybody know if the Lakers won that game?

Knecht is going to singlehandely rekindle my interest in NBA ball. I haven’t cared a lick in about 30 years, other than keeping tabs on Vol players.
