I know it is Facebook, but I saw that he's in the portal. Anybody else see that. I hope it's wrong.

A rule of thumb to go by is that a Facebook account or Twitter user is not going to break news before all of our beat writers. There’s nothing out there about Freddie right now. If he does enter, Volquest or Rucker will have news about it instantly.

I’m assuming the year end meeting between coaches and players are happening this week?

Pardon my poor reading comprehension, but what does "all none seniors" mean?

I assume all non-seniors, which I'd interpret as anyone with remaining eligibility (but I guess someone could sneak in with a COVID year if those are still a thing for anyone left)

Sorry non-seniors. Seniors with no eligibility also do exit interviews but they are different.

Makes sense. That's why my poor reading comprehension needed to be pardoned.

He wasn’t fully healthy while ZZ was still recovering. Then Cam Carr really came on. I’m not going to act like he has 60 games under his belt.
There are things he needs to improve. He also had some bad luck.

He also had some bad luck. I'm thinking he was the higher rated of the four freshmen we brought in last year. Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Carr, JP, and him were probably all rated about the same.

Freddie was and quite frankly still the crown jewel of that class. But Cam Carr‘s last two years have been incredible. Him Cade Phillips and Elliot Cadeu were all on the same team. Phillips took some time off and was wrongfully dropped in the rating IMO but that doesn’t matter. Estrella has all the tools to be really good and showed a tougher mindset when he got here than he ever displayed in high school. They were slowed by 3 guys that have played a combined 15 years of college basketball.

. . . They were slowed by 3 guys that have played a combined 15 years of college basketball. This my hope. Barnes has never been shy about playing freshman who deserved the time, so it concerns me that neither could crack five minutes per game. But he's never had a situation where two fifth-year seniors came back after the recruiting cycle either.
Freddie did look like he was going to get 15mpg or so before the foot injury, and he got hurt at the absolute worst possible time for developmental purposes. Carr and Phillips, I don't think think were ever expected to get time this year, due to the offseason circumstances. I frankly thought (hoped) both might redshirt, so you might take the fact that they played at all as a positive.
Now, will Freddie see it that way? That may depend on who the Vols are bringing in. If they pull two wings from the portal, I might be skeptical that next year will be same song, second verse. I don't see Phillips or Carr as high risks of leaving yet.
