Halftime score, 54-28. We're relentless on the pressure D. Because it's the first half, we pressed up to the end, and forced a 10 second violation with 11 seconds left in the half. You have to love that.

I am absolutely loving watching this team. No doubt they will find the going tougher against some of the better opponents, but all of their opponents will find the LVs tougher going than they ever would have suspected. They may well pull off some upsets against some of the elite teams, and it won't be long before their wins against good competition won't BE upsets.

Teams are regularly shooting the ball well against us. We just force a ton of turnovers (37 by W. Carolina). We haven’t played a team with a pulse yet, outside of MTSU. We eventually will face teams that we won’t force into 30+ turnovers, and we’ll need to defend well enough in the half court that they don’t shoot 50+% against us. Even the Catamounts hit 50% from the field against us. We could use some big posts in the next class and/or out of the portal. |
