Cam Carr out until January basically. Sigh. Glad you are having fun ticklesthetwine. That sucks, not the hanging on the beach part. Carr just seemed to be getting Barnes legs under him. Will be really interesting to myself how Dubar is managed going forward |

They have played Coppin State - who is ranked as the worst offense in college basketball on the KP - 364 out of 364. They did beat Nova, but Nova is 3-3 with losses to #156 Columbia (at home) by 10 and at #103 St. Joe's by 7. I am not sure there is enough hay in the barn to know whether this UVA team is any good or not. Agree, but I’d be willing to bet they still play good defense. It should be our stiffest test, offensively, to date. |

Currently sitting on the lovely beach at Baha Mar. Yesterday saw plenty of Vol fans. I’d say TN and VA has the most by far. Ran into ZZ’s mom…very nice lady. Team came thru the casino so chatted with ZZ and Rick. Hope we play well tonight but who knows in that goofy “gym”. Will give a game report at some point, but niot during the game. Have a blast! |

Any idea why the Vols keep getting stuck in these ballroom-cum-ball court tourneys with so-so opposition on obscure TV networks for the holidays, while the "elite" teams are playing in Madison Square Garden, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Hawaii, etc., etc., on prime-time TV? Is our national reputation really so low? Our national reputation has rarely been higher. We’ve been in some really good tourneys and some like this. |

Is our national reputation really so low? we played in Hawaii last season in the Maui Invitational..... I think that one got moved to another location due to the big fire they had earlier in the year, so that may contribute to the perception that we’ve been in a lot of bad venues. |

Still having nightmares about the 2012 Cuonzo/UVA game. I'm sure I've told this before, but the late TeeTime (Walt) and I met up at that game as I had an extra ticket and he lived in Charlottesville. By halftime I was a mixture of angry and bored. |

Oh well… A little early in the afternoon to already be partaking in some "fruity" drinks Cherokee.  Course, I read your initial reply and shook my head in complete agreement so I did the same. |

And Battle 4 Atlantis always has a great field ……would be nice though if they would play a few more of these on the continental 48 |

Carr is out 4-6 weeks. Haven't heard anything about Lanier. That would be a big blow.
