...but Igor had a nice game. Maybe he's getting comfortable in his role. That spin-across-the-lane layup was really nice. If he can be a fairly consistent double-double guy and hit a few threes like that...

If he can be a fairly consistent double-double guy and hit a few threes like that... Pretty sure he is leading the team in rebounds; not sure posters gave him enough credit as a rebounder. The only major weakness I have seen so far is that he may lack foot speed to be a strong defender on the perimeter, but otherwise he seems to have a pretty complete game, as you would expect from the son of a highly successful coach.

Well if he's really 6'9" or so, I don't see him having to defend on the perimeter much, except to pop out there momentarily to keep guys from driving off of ball screens and then popping back in.

He looked confident for the first time. Hopefully he can be confident against the big dogs, too.

His passing was impeccable for the most part. Very nice touch.

I'd like to see one more of the guards / Wings step up and score

Lots of teams these days use a "stretch 4" who can operate on the perimeter. Come to think of it, that's what Milicic is most of the time. And the Vols are constantly switching, so there are any number of occasions in a game where Milicic needs to be able to defend on the perimeter at a high level. I am one of those who think the Vols overall may take a small step back on defense, essentially because of swap of Milicic for JJJ, but they might be able to take a small step forward on offense even without Knecht, because there ought to be more decent scoring threats.
