Ben McKee from 247 reported the following:
Just got done watching Tennessee basketball practice before they get on a bus to head to Louisville.
JP Estrella (foot), Felix Okpara (hip pointer) and Bishop Boswell (concussion protocol) were full participants. Darlinstone Dubar (personal matter) was in team-issued gear and did not practice.
Jordan Gainey was shaken up in the middle of practice. Looked to be a knee or ankle. He got checked out by the trainer and missed some time, but did eventually return to practice. He appears to be fine.
On the recruiting front... Five-star Chris Cenac Jr. is in Baton Rouge for his OV with LSU this weekend. A lot of people will hype up LSU in his recruitment because he is from New Orleans, but from what I'm hearing, Cenac is only visiting out of courtesy for the hometown team.
I maintain that Tennessee is in a great position for Cenac. Houston feels like UT's biggest competition. I would go as far as to call Tennessee the leader in for Cenac as of today...
Last thing, it's possible five-star guard Brayden Burries makes it to campus next weekend for an OV. Tennessee is trying to finalize OVs for Burries and four-star point guard Chance Mallory who recently decommitted from Virginia.
