His shot looks so weird. It's like a frog jump with a chest-high release point. I hope he does great, but to me it seems likelier that last year was the anomaly for him.

If it was, he might not be the only transfer we got who had a great shooting year before coming UT, as Gainey had a 40+% shooting year from beyond the arc in one of his seasons prior to arriving on the Hallowed Hill. |

No problem for now, but if he is still shooting like this when we go to the tournament at Thanksgiving, it will be a problem. For now, I will readily accept the idea that he was just pressing to make a good impression in his first public appearance in a UT uniform before a large home crowd. But he needs to get over it if the Vols are to be contenders this year.
