Card still looks like a 15 year old and really looked chaotic and out of control with the ball. Was hoping to see some added weight or polish to his game, but the shot looked awkward and he still looks extremely raw.

Yeah I was afraid people were a little too optimistic about the expectations for him this year. And I still have hope and think he can develop into a really good player. But I was afraid we needed to pump the brakes on the expectation that he would probably be a starter this year. |

Based on today's game (and granted, it's one exhibition game), there are several guys we likely need to pump the brakes on for expectations. |

I’m still bullish on Carr. I have seen him legitimately take over in multiple settings.
This team isn’t going to be great without him.
Zeigler needs help. I didn’t think he had his A game today and he still looked pretty good.

Based on today's game (and granted, it's one exhibition game), there are several guys we likely need to pump the brakes on for expectations. You're right. I was sure Lanier and Igor were going to be really big contributors for us this year. Now I'm not so sure. Maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised as the season goes on. |

I thought that was pretty interesting, and telling, from him. I think Dubar and Boswell got more run that we'd see in the regular season. Probably a fair amount more Phillips too, but I can't tell about that one. I'm not sure what the rotation is going to be at the 4 and 5. Really need Estrella health to allow him to play a lot. |
