Great to see this. I remember his first year in the League he missed something like his first 20 three point attempts. Now he’s a 40+% shooter from the arc. But I don’t normally see him pump fake, put it on the floor and create some space. From what I recall, he camped in the corners and if he had an open look he’d shoot it. Having said that, I don’t watch much NBA, but watch Grant if he’s on TV, and see clips like this. So maybe he has been rounding out his shooting game more than I knew.

Hard to believe, given their overall record in that time, but this was the fourth year in a row the Hornets won their opening game. No other team has won their opening game more than twice in a row. I know that's hard to believe but the play-by-play guy swore it is true. How many more they win depends entirely on how healthy they can be. LaMello Ball, who is really good, played only 22 games all last year. Several other major players were also hurt for considerable periods of time.

Announcer reminds me of Kesling with his excitement. Since I live in Charlotte, I get just about every Hornets game. The announcer, whose name escapes me at the moment, can really get carried away sometimes, especially considering how overall terrible the team has been for the last several years. However, as I said on another post in this thread, they have had horrible luck with injuries to important players. They probably haven't had their ideal starting five on the floor at the same time more than ten games a season for the last several. I rarely watch one of their games all the way through, but I do keep up with them, and it is a lot more fun when they are competitive. Don't get me started on the Panthers....
