I'm going to try to put the curse stuff on the shelf too. But we have a long way to go to have a high quality roster next year. We currently have 8 players. We've lost 5 of our top 7 scorers from last year, including the best scorer of my lifetime. At the moment, our best post player is JP Estrella. The one backup to him played a combined 80 minutes this past season. Gainey, Mashack, Carr, and Dubar fill out the wing spots, and there is clearly some talent there, but it's either inconsistent or unproven. I know we're not done with the portal, but it looks like we're going to be the bridesmaid with what I would consider our top target (Tyson). I'm sure we'll add some decent players to fill out the roster, but we'll go into next season with more questions than we've had in several years. I'm still probably in Debbie Downer mode, but I think we probably just missed our best chance at a Final Four, and those just don't come around very often. Current Roster: Zakai Zeigler Jordan Gainey Jahmai Mashack Darlinstone Dubar Cameron Carr JP Estrella Cade Phillips Bishop Boswell So you're thinking that Tyson is the top portal target. That's kinda disappointing. I was thinking/hoping Dubar and Millicic were the top targets. Time will tell I guess. |

At least that's what some are saying. I just don't understand why that would be the lineup (especially bigs) that he would think we should go with. I really have a problem believing that's exactly the whole story. We'll see I guess, but I'm pretty sure that CRB is gonna add at least one more big, maybe two (if Tobe leaves). |
