I just got home and the Vols have scored 6 runs in the B2, still nobody out.
Depending on which poll you look at (there are five for college baseball), the Vols are as high as #2 (one poll), as low as #4 (one poll) or #3 (three polls). Bellarmine is a familiar foe, from Louisville, KY.
Burke and Reese Chapman both have homers in the inning. Amick just fouled out down the 1B line. Tears just homered to make it 7-0. Dreiling grounded out to 1B Curley grounded out to 3B
But the Vols score a TD and XP in the 2nd, and lead 7-0.

Good grief, Austin Hunley comes in to pitch the T3 and gives up 3 earned runs, plus the Vols make an error.
So UT is batting in the bottom half, the lead cut to 7-4.

B3:
Chapman pops out to SS Bargo singles and takes 2B on a wild pitch Antigua (who doubled previously) walks Peebles walks and the bases are loaded with one out Villenueve K's looking (with bases loaded and one out) - he has really struggled since starting off hot as a pistol in the early part of the season. Also, he is playing 1B in Burke's place now, so I hope that is just a move by Tony V. and not an indication the Burke has some kind of injury that got him pulled from the game this early. Amick walks on four pitches, and the Vols lead, 8-4. Tears grounds out to 2B, and the Vols load the bases with one out but only scratch one run across.
It's 8-4 Vols, heading to the T4.

Dylan walks Dean lines into a DP, 6-3 Chapman goes yards for the second time today, and it's 9-4 Vols. Bargo HBP Ariel Antigua flies out to RF.
It's 9-4 Vols, heading to T5.

Had dinner and just got back to the game.
The Vols scored 3 in the 6th and 5 in the 7th, including a three run homer from Chuckie Tater (Charlie Taylor).
It's 17-4 Vols after 7 innings, but apparently we aren't playing 10 run rule tonight.
The Vols sat some starters from the beginning of the game, others early on in the game, and at this point they have no starters playing. This is what games like this are for.

The Vol offense is relentless. We have added 3 more runs so far in the B8, leading 20-5.
Villenueve (1-3 tonight, and he needs a kickstart to his hitting slump) is up with two outs and two men on. He walks to load the bases. Ethan Payne is up - flies out to CF to strand three.
But we head to the 9th, Vols leading 20-5.

UT has inserted our 8th pitcher of the game.
The Vols have scored 20 runs on 20 hits and 12 walks. The revolving door of Vol pitchers have surrendered 3 home runs, but actually only 5 hits and 2 walks through 8 innings. one o JJ Garcia retires Bellarmine in order in the 9th, for a final score of 20-5.
The Vols move to 31-6 on the season. Next up is a tough road series this weekend at Kentucky. And unfortunately for me, it's one I will have to watch mostly from recorded broadcasts since one of our oldest two boys (twins) is getting married. So Friday night I'll be at the rehearsal dinner, and Saturday night at the wedding itself.

I also have twin boys but they’re 15.
