I joined the Trilly discord. There’s actually a Tennessee specific forum in there. They said Dubar measured at 6’5, which may lead to us passing. I’d still take him, we have the room. He’s a scorer …….take him

I don’t understand where “doesn’t have a commitable offer” comes from. I’m not saying the information wrong but this staff does their homework. If he isn’t 6’8, they knew that before he got there.

Really interested to hear about what happened here. Someone in the Trilly discord said that he met with our NIL people last Wednesday and had a deal lined up. Was supposed to commit on Saturday.
Maybe he didn’t mesh well with the team? Or maybe he just changed his mind. Odd deal.

I think it’s worth the $6, at least until portal season ends. There’s definitely some BS in there, but a lot of legit inside stuff for the sport as a whole from NIL people, agents, etc.

Guy on VN reiterated this morning that Dubar came into the visit ready to commit and left Sunday without a commitable offer. I have no idea if that's true.

I will only charge each of you 43 cents each to recoup my $6 investment.

Another insider in the Trilly discord is reiterating that Dubar showed up ready to commit, had a graphic ready, etc. The visit was a formality.
But something made us cool and it really may have been him being shorter than we thought. Bobby Maze is apparently not happy about it and letting people know it (Dubar was one of his AAU kids).

Ben McKee (247) posted today that he thinks UT is in extremely great shape with Dubar. I have read a few things today that make me think there are two very divergent views on this situation, that don’t seem easily reconcilable. So I don’t know what the truth is.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but I find it hard to believe he had an NIL deal in place before even setting foot on campus. I do think it very possible that Dubar, Tyson, and Milicic have all been made aware of at least relative specifics regarding an NIL deal that could or would be offered if they were to commit to Tennessee, and that's why they are all visiting. And perhaps each one knows it could be him or one of the other two who actually get that offer, depending on the outcome of said visit(s). Milicic is coming in tomorrow, right? With all this said, Dubar not yet having a committable offer makes sense to me...

I read that he is still a Tennessee lean (it actually said lock but I never say that until it's official), but he was gonna make a visit to USC just basically for the trip. Who knows. It said this was similar to Tyson visiting us but he's still very very likely going to UNC. Have no idea how accurate this is but it it out there also.

I should caveat that all of the above is from Tennessee posters calling themselves insiders. The mod of the site, Trilly, still thinks we get Dubar according to his source who he followed up with today.

G ramey says he has commitable offer and Bchilds thinks so . I would guess one or both would be getting information when and If that has changed .
