I want this kid. He's 6'6. Has shot 40% from 3 for 2 straight years now even with a heavy increase in volume. Also shoots 65% from 2. Pulls down 7 rebounds per game and 1.2 steals.
Might be visiting campus this weekend. Bring him in, Rick!

Absolutely. Very excited about a roster that includes ZZ, Carr, Mashack, Gainey, Lanier, and Dubar, along with Aidoo and Estrella down low. Theoretically we'd add in a dynamic forward as well and we'd still have 3 slots for additional depth. |

Only thing that concerns me about this guy is he has a funky motion on his shot. Barnes likes to tinker with shots. That would be one thing with a kid coming in as a freshman. If you only have one year with him, I would hope Barnes might resist the temptation.

But you can get away with that more when you're tall and if you're a threat to drive. |

The little hitch when he sets his feet is kinda weird, but once he gets it up there on his forehead, he looks pretty good to me. I like the release. My only issue might be the speed in finally getting to his release (or lack thereof), and possibly the height of it. One of the things that made DK so lethal is how high the ball was at his release. It was a lot like Allan Houston in that respect. This guy not quite so much, but if he's 6'8" maybe that's not such an issue. |
