First pitch is at 2 eastern. I have not heard who will start on the hill for the Vols today, but it will be a bullpen game. That said, if whomever we start looks good early, he may stay in until he starts to struggle.
That said, part 2: We have had an awful lot of games where we can't get out of the first inning without giving up a run or more.
Edit: See my last post in this thread for a summary.

The game is under way with a Christian Moore fly out to CF.
The Vols go down in order and we move to the B1.

So, ONCE AGAIN... the Vols cannot get out of the first inning without giving up runs. AU scored 3 in the bottom of the first.
However, the Vols have scored 6 in the top of the 2nd, with two home runs. Stark hit ANOTHER GRAND SLAM, the Vols' 9th of the season which adds to their already achieved season record 8th that we hit yesterday. And Moore hit a solo shot.
Update: Dreiling hit a two out double, took 3B on a wild pitch. Tears walked. Bargo slaps the ball to 2B (scored an error), scoring Dreiling, making it 7 runs in the T2. Ensley flew out to end the top half, but the Vols now lead, 7-3.

The question now is if the Vols' pitching staff, which I continue to believe is the lid on how far this team will go this season, can perform well enough to win this game.
Edit: I forgot to mention that Zander Sechrist got the start today. I figured that would likely be the case. He has retired the first two batters in the B2.

Did y’all hear the umpire tell the crowd that “Alabama” was challenging the ruling on the field? Of all the ways you could have screwed up saying “Auburn”, that was for sure the worst. The crowd went ballistic.

Snead gave up a leadoff walk, who eventually scored in the B4, but that was it for Auburn.
In the T5: Bargo grounded out (3-1) Ensley homered (our 4th of the game) Curley grounded out (4-3) Chapman walked Stark HBP Moore doubles down the LF line, scoring two; 16-4 Vols Burke K's.
But the Vols add 2 runs. Heading to B5, the Vols lead 16-4..

Remember when we were losing this game 3-0? Yes, because as usual we gave up runs immediately. This lineup is powerful and loaded with polished hitters (polished at the college level). That is our rocket fuel. The pitching staff isn't bad, but to this point they're not especially great (not having Russell is probably the biggest problem), and they will be the ceiling to what this team can do, IMO.

Snead gets a flyout and a K to start the inning. He gives up a single and then gets another flyout to end the B5. Vols lead, 16-4.
