Kellie is out. Big hire coming up for Danny White, that took some confidence to pull that trigger

Lady Vol fans get what they ask for... one of Pat's girls or the the peasants will storm the gates. The resume of Kellie Harper shows absolutely nothing that justifies leading the most iconic program in the women's game. Before Tennessee, Harper coached at Missouri State from 2013-19 compiling a record of 118–79. Prior to MO St, she coached at NC State and was fired in in 2013 after the Wolfpack missed the NCAA Tournament three seasons in a row and compiling a record of 70-64. Her first head coaching job was at Western Carolina, where she spent five seasons compiling a record of 62-32. While amusing myself on X perusing the link above, there were actually serious comments listing Tyler Summit as the first call to be made lol. Others demanding that Kellie be retained and Danny White fired. 🥳

I read Harper was 12–37 against ranked teams in her five seasons at Tennessee. Sorry but that’s not anywhere close to the standards of UT women’s basketball.
