Blurb stolen from ESPN:
“STAT TO WATCH
The Boilermakers have not lost a game when turning the ball over 13 or fewer times and are 6-4 when they’ve had 14-plus turnovers.
Tennessee, which plays relentless defense from the logo to the rim, forces 13-plus turnovers a game.“

Purdue turned it over 16 times against us in our first meeting, which of course they won. But yes, I get that if we can turn them over a good amount, that both limits their scoring opportunities and gives us some possible transition baskets or at least possessions where their defense isn't really set and we can score more easily. So turning them over more than their norm improves our chances of winning. I'm guessing in Purdue's four losses when they turned it over 14+ times, the other team played well offensively too.

Yeah of course. I do think it speaks more to, if they don’t turn it over they’re impossible to beat. If you do turn them over, they’re still likely to win but they CAN lose. When Wisconsin beat them in the biG10 tourney, I was surprised to see that the Badgers kind of stink it up from 3 (7/32 so under 22% on a ton of shots). They also only made 5/9 from the charity stripe. But yeah, they killed it from 2. I didn’t watch the game but it sounds like easy also picked up 2 fouls (!!!) in the first half so had to ride some pine a bit. Only played 29 mins in an OT game. What im really trying to do is just post something, anything about the game. I’m gonna do my part and not watch it live, obviously, and per context’s instructions. So I’ll guess I’ll log off here in just under an hour and hide under a rock until the kids go to bed tonight.

Sounds like Santi is out there warming up and “will be available” but Mashack will get the start again. Not sure how much santi would even have in the tank tonight if called upon?

Time to lay these Final Four demons, curses, superstitions, etc. down and move on. ZZ is taking us home today with an assist from DK and company.

Would one of you be so kind as to let me know when we’re tipping off, so that I can log off from the world for a few hours?
Pretty please? With an orange on top?
