I can confirm this is, in fact, a simple thought with the potential for future excitement.

I think SV is going to be an absolutely dominant offensive college player by his senior year. 22 and 11 could be a stretch but even 18 and 8 would be such an asset. I don’t think he’ll ever play in the NBA because of his physical limitations, but he’ll have a great career in Europe. Jmo

Jmo I actually think he'll be in the NBA and it'll be before his senior year. 6'3 isn't a bad height for a PG and I don't think he's as physically limited as people say. Once his release gets quicker and he gets used to playing against SEC caliber athletes, he'll adapt and cut down the turnovers. Could be a Steve Nash type. I also think Luka and Harden have proven that you don't have to be the fastest or highest jumper to be and elite scorer/facilitator. You just have to perfect your technique.

I agree with this - it's up to Vescovi to make that improvement, but it's not out of the question. You can "play" fast by being very savvy, without being the quickest cat on the court. But yeah, he's really got to shore up the turnovers this season.

Never played NCAA hoops, comes right into conference play, doesn't know any of his teammates, oh here, why don't you pay 30 minutes a game at the point? His turnovers dropped from .1358 per minute through his first ten games to 0.1058 his last nine. That is still too high but I think it will look a little different next season. He played 265 minutes during the last nine games of last season. By comparison, Jordan Bone played 165 minutes over the last 9 of his freshman year.

No doubt he can be effective on offense, I just don’t know if he can guard NBA guards. Hope he proves me wrong! Regardless, he’s going to be dominant once he cuts down the turnovers, which he will this year I’m sure.
