Was at concessions tonight, sounds like another B- performance that resulted in a double digit win, albeit slightly under performing expectations. 1.109 pts/per is good not great for TN, dropped us to the #11 offense. Struggled on the offensive glass but we shot it pretty well. 57.7% eFG%.
Held Miami to their worst efficiency of the year.
Lanier 22pts on 15 shots. Igor 16 on 11. ZZ 13 on 9 with 9 assists.

Saw a stat on the screen that I'm not sure can be real. It said in Barnes's 10 years at Tennessee, he is 100-3 when leading at halftime...? that's crazy. I would not have come close to guessing that.

There were some highlight moments, but yeah it wasn't great, wasn't terrible. The first half defense didn't seem great, but Miami only scored 25.

Arkansas in a battle with #14 Michigan. It would be nice to whip up on the B1G as well as the ACC.

Arky up 12 on UM. Aidoo looks like he is moving poorly.

Arkansas wins a close one. Jonas is still soft...
Vols getting a lot of good attention on Sports Center. There are benefits to being #1...

Polls are not what they once were, but they still have value for getting attention and good press. Has to be when winning by double digits at half. He’s won over 200 games at Tennessee so there’s no chance they were losing at half in 100+ of them obviously.

That sounds too absurd to be true. Yeah, call me skeptical. I'm trying to find that. Saw someone say it was 100-3 when leading by 10+ at halftime. In 10 years at Tennessee, Barnes has 300+ games coached, so with our relative strength, I'd think we've led at halftime in over 200, or at the very least 50%.

Seemed like Miami played better D in this game than I was expecting after reading how poorly they have been to this point in the season. Then I thought about the fact that we are #1 in the polls which makes even mediocre teams step up their game and effort as a result. Have to learn to match that elevated intensity as we are now the hunted versus being the hunter. Still a great position to be in and I'm not going to complain!

Miami has no business being that bad, they’ve got talent.

Miami has no business being that bad, they’ve got talent. Miami is like a lot of schools in the NIL era who are finding out that this isn't a video game where you just put together enough players with a high rating and then win.
