A friend of mine from church (Auburn fan) will be flying to see AU play at Duke in early December. I try not to give Auburn fans too much crap, but I've never heard many fans of any other SEC team say they don't really care about basketball. I've heard it most of my life from a lot of Auburn fans. So they are the definition of a johnny-come-lately program and fan base. Auburn has had a really strong team every once in a blue moon before, but it never lasted more than a season or two. Now they are a consistent power. It galls me.
