I really like this team, I think. There’s going to be nights where the 3s aren’t falling and we get blown out, but I think this is going to be fun. Really strong perimeter group + Igor + tall athletic scrap guys. Fun group.
Just DO NOT throw the ball to Okpara on the block.

I really like this team, I think. There’s going to be nights where the 3s aren’t falling and we get blown out, but I think this is going to be fun. Really strong perimeter group + Igor + tall athletic scrap guys. Fun group. Just DO NOT throw the ball to Okpara on the block. I did not think Felix would be the smyrna guy...but I totally agree. |

Omier destroys a lot of people--big, strong, and crafty, plus he's a 5th-year guy. No shame to Phillips for not being able to contain him. There are very few players who are great at everything in every type of game. Smart players know what they can do and try to avoid doing what they can't do. Then you just hope that you and your teammates are better at what they try to do than the opponents are at their stuff. I like the Vols' chances most nights. |

Did anyone else hear the announcer or color guy (can’t remember which) state that Tennessee and SEC players were strong weight lifters as compared to ACC players who are basketball players? It was a shot at Tennessee and very unprofessional.

so what do we think about Wilkerson after these two. I thought he struggled to work with Bert. I liked his play by play but it was obvious they were not used to working together. He sort of dominated the call.

He sort of dominated the call. Wilkerson isn’t good , people ewww and awwww over his baseball calls which is by far the easiest sport to call and I still don’t think he’s all that good at it |

I like him on the baseball calls and I thought he did ok on these two games. Maybe just over talking, but the flip side of that is some BB play by play guys leave you not knowing what is going on.
