73 more wins to catch Mears. He’ll pass Mears for sure. But the different eras make comparisons tough. Still, Barnes will be our wins leader barring something unforeseen. And having an Elite Eight now elevates him as well. |

True. I don't know what the "personal matter" was, but I think Barnes might be sending the message that "let us know when you're ready to play, and then we'll let you know when we're ready to play you", haha. Seriously though, it may not be anything like that for all I know. Maybe he has been struggling with something non-hoops related and CRB isn't sending any message at all. I thought I had read that he had 3 or 4 people close to him who had died in the past month or so and that was the reason he wasn't playing. Does that sound correct? I have no idea. Do you recall where you read that? |

Agree - Barnes’ comments have sounded much more supportive. I think when a guy is in his doghouse, he’s still doing what he thinks is best for the team and player in the long run, but it’s also more clear that he’s unhappy. |
