After six runs without getting an out, the new pitcher K's Dreiling and Curley. He hits Chapman. Backus flies out to CF.
But the Vols score six and lead, 9-4, heading to T6.

Marcus Phillips (Soph) who got the save Sunday against UK, is in to pitch here in the T6.
The first batter pop out to SS. Second batter grounds out to 1B, 3-1 Third batter flies out to RF.
Nice inning from Phillips.

I left to make supper for one of my sons and myself, and returned and the score hasn't changed.

We're moving to T8, still 9-4 Vols.
UT has 10 hits to only 2 for the Catamounts. One really awful inning by a couple of Vol pitchers is the only reason W. Carolina has any runs at all.

As luck would have it, that 1 awful inning was one of the few innings I got to see. I never actually saw us score a run.
